When it comes to selecting tile, stone and quartz products for your new build or renovation project, deciding which to choose isn’t always easy. You want to make sure it’s durable, damage-resistant, aesthetically pleasing, and practical. We want you to love all elements of your surfaces! So, let’s have a look at the latest stunning and unique tile and stone options for spring 2024.

Della Terra® Quartz

Quartz surfaces are comprised of natural quartz granules meaning they are not natural stone mined from the earth, they are manufactured. The finely ground quartz is made into a solid surface by mixing up to 94% of quartz with technologically advanced polymers. This creates a non-porous surface that is highly resistant to staining, scratches, and chipping, is easy to maintain, and ultra-durable. A perk of quartz is that it does not require sealing. It is as simple as wiping clean with a damp cloth as standard routine and, if necessary, using a gentle pH-neutral cleaner or mild soap with water.

Cotton is the newest member of our quartz collection. This pure white quartz offers a clean, crisp look and endless versatility. Regardless of if you’re looking for a modern or traditional style, Cotton will adorn your style with ease on interior walls and countertops; be it, commercial or residential.

Quartzite

Unlike quartz, quartzite is a natural stone formed by nature over many, many years. It consists of a high percentage of quartz minerals that have been exposed to a copious amount of heat and pressure. Since quartz is one of the hardest minerals in nature, it goes without saying that quartzite will also be very durable and indeed, is one of the hardest surfaces available. And, given quartzite is a natural stone, there will be a little more care involved as it is porous by nature. To help minimize staining, the application of an impregnating sealer is recommended.

Bluegrass polished quartzite is the newest member of the group. It radiates with a plethora of rich, earthy tones of green, cream, red, pink, purple, orange, gold, brown, and black. It is truly amazing to see such stunning colors and movement created by something deep within the earth’s surface. Given its durability, this Brazilian quartzite works well in both residential and commercial spaces on interior walls, shower walls, around fireplaces, and as interior countertops. Don’t let this green quartzite pass you by.

Ceramic and Porcelain

Very common in lots of homes and establishments is the use of ceramic and porcelain tile. These products add a level of luxury while being super easy to maintain. Our line of ceramic and porcelain comes in a wide array of colors, sizes, and textures and allows your contractor easy installation.

What separates porcelain and ceramic is that ceramic tile does not carry the color of the tile through the “body”, meaning the color is only on the surface. If a tile was to chip, this may be more noticeable. For porcelain, on the other hand, the body of the tile is color-matched to the surface color of the tile Both are great products, just know your planned usage (particularly interior vs. exterior), household demographics (like if you have children or pets), and if plans involve a high-traffic area. Beautiful yet incredibly versatile Arte ceramic tile would make a wonderful addition to your next design. Available in three sizes—3×6, 3×12, 4×16 in white—and three additional colors—Cool, Warm, Bone, and White— in the 4×16 size, this classic subway tile design has remained highly popular in residences for over 100 years. Best used on shower walls, other interior walls like a backsplash, and around fireplaces, the traditional yet modern design matches any décor style and desired design aesthetics. If you want neutral or white ceramic wall tile, this may be your match.
