Granite Tile
General Questions
When cleaning granite, make sure to avoid the use of harsh chemicals, acidic cleansers, and abrasive scrubbing tools. We recommend using warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft microfiber cloth. While a strong cleaning agent for other surfaces, avoid using vinegar, as it can dull the granite’s finish and weaken the sealant. Granite tiles can vary in thickness. Arizona Tile offers 12″ x 12″ granite tiles that are 3/8″ thick in select colors and finishes.
For bathroom tiles, we recommend a simple mixture of dish soap and a microfiber cloth or a pH-neutral cleaner will suffice. Avoid hash chemicals and vinegar. Gently wipe down the surface, but avoid using excess water as to not seep into the grout. Then just rinse and dry.
For bathroom shower tiles, we recommend using a simple mixture of dish soap and water with a microfiber cloth. You can also use a pH-neutral cleaner but avoid using anything harsh like vinegar. Gently wipe down the surface walls removing all soap scum and dirt. After cleaning, rinse and dry the tiles thoroughly.
