We’re excited to tell you about an important cause that helps the men and women who have served our country. Recently, Arizona Tile made a donation to a vital project at Patriot PAWS, an organization located in Rockwall, TX that’s focused on serving disabled military veterans.
About Patriot PAWS
Patriot PAWS is dedicated to training service dogs for disabled veterans in 30 states. To date, they’ve placed 195 service dogs with veterans in need, including those with mobile disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It takes about $35,000 to train each dog to the highest standards, in order to restore and support the independence of those who have bravely served.
Doing Our Part
We at Arizona Tile were happy to do our small part to help the people at Patriot PAWS and support their mission. Patriot PAWS was in need of an upgrade to a house on their campus. Arizona Tile donated Subway tile and Pietra Etrusca tile (now discontinued) to help with the much-needed renovations at this very old house on the organization’s property.
From the Dallas Builders Association, Altura Homes and Mishler Builders undertook this massive project to completely rebuild a new, updated home. The Patriot PAWS house serves as a temporary home for veterans while they train with their new service animal. This new house completes the state-of-the-art Patriot PAWS campus and training facility to make each veteran feel comfortable and at home.
