MIA Announces iStone App

Arizona Tile is a proud member of the Marble Institute of America (MIA). We have a very active partnership with MIA, offering industry courses and events to stone and marble fabricators throughout the southwest. Just recently we hosted an MIA event at our Denver location with great turnout – more than 90 fabricators attended. We appreciate MIA’s commitment to the highest standards of workmanship and ethics in the natural stone industry.

Because we are always on the lookout for new ideas and sources of inspiration, we are excited to announce that MIA released its new iPad application called iStone:

“Presented in a beautifully rendered, 3D environment, the application has been built to take full advantage of the large Multi-Touch screen and advanced capabilities of iPad.
The app presents images and technical information of over a 1,000 natural stones from around the world, and includes the capability to search for  favorite stones by:

• Stone type
• Color
• Country of Origin
• Name

Have you used the iStone app yet? It’s ideal for designers, installers, contractors, and fabricators who want the flexibility of viewing “swatches” of natural stone anywhere. We’d love to hear your feedback on the app and learn how you are using it.
