Jade is a marble with a blend of sage green, cream and grey. Jade products are available in various finishes, the 12 × 24 and 8″ Hex are Satin finish, the Large Chevron Mesh and Penny Round 3/4 Mesh is Honed, the Multi Finish Modella Mesh mixes honed and textured surfaces and the Split 4 × 16 has a 3D texture and is a wall only install item. Split 4 × 16 tiles are intended to be installed closely together, without a grout joint, so grouting is not recommended. Please note, while the Jade can be installed on exterior surfaces, do not install in freeze/thaw conditions. This product will change from shipment to shipment; therefore, customer approval is required.
Piece to piece variation in shade or color are inherent in all natural stone products; therefore, when installing natural stone tile, it is recommended to mix tiles from several boxes at a time during installation to achieve the best range of color. There can be noticeable variances between pieces, so it is important and recommended that a range of this product be viewed before finalizing a purchase.
As a natural stone product, it is recommended that this be sealed to extend its longevity. For proper bonding LFT/LHT mortar for large format and heavy tiles should be used when installing tiles with dimensional length greater than 15 in. and rectangular shape and plank tile per industry standards. Proper thinset coverage is also necessary and in some cases back buttering of the tile may be required.
