We are happy to report that in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, the Arizona Tile Houston team is doing well. Despite some damage to vehicles and a few residences, everyone is safe and the work of repairing and rebuilding the community is now underway.
Both our Houston Arizona Tile branch and distribution center were unscathed after the storm, and we’re thankful to be back in business due to the dedication and effort of our unbelievable team. It’s only because of these hardworking people that we were able to open our doors within just a few days of the storm ending. Our local leadership in Houston, with Bob Glaser and Bobby Gavrilis in La Porte and Brian Sancet and Meg Belmontes in Houston, have done a wonderful job making sure everyone on the team has come through the worst of the disaster.
While there is plenty of work ahead when it comes to rebuilding Houston, we are glad to know that our people are staying strong. The company was able to make a contribution to a local charitable organization in Houston that is doing great work in the community there. We’d like to sincerely thank everyone who has offered support and assistance to our Houston family.
